The Training.....

We will devise an appropriate training program for each building. Below are two examples of how this might look.

While the frequency of training will be scheduled to meet the specific requirements of the building, the selected program will follow this outline.

Warden Training. Basic Warden presentations will be held to train new wardens in their responsibilities.

The frequency of these presentations will be determined by the size and personnel turnover within the building.

Presentations would be conducted within the building at a suitable site, to be determined.

Our presentation takes approximately two hours and will include formal instruction, visual aids and discussions.

Subjects to be covered are:

Types of emergency and reaction of personnel
Organization and roles of emergency personnel
First action fire fighting appliances and their use
Bomb threats and methods of searching for suspicious articles
Medical emergencies

All emergency wardens will be invited to this session with a personally addressed invitation which we will deliver by hand to the Floor Warden on each floor.

Sample letters are available on request on the following:

A letter to each Floor Warden
A letter to other Wardens

A letter reporting results of the training session to Building Owner/Manager.
